5 things you need to know about making a Vauxhall van emissions claim

Vauxhall is facing allegations that it installed software designed to cheat emissions tests into certain diesel vehicles. More than one million Vauxhall owners in the UK could be affected by this scandal. Keller Lenkner UK is holding Vauxhall to account for breaking the law and deceiving its customers.

Here are five things you need to know about making a Vauxhall van emission claim.

1. It is not just Vauxhall van drivers who are affected

Vauxhall allegedly fitted defeat devices into some of its diesel-engine vans and cars manufactured between 2008 and 2019. The affected vehicles currently include Agila, Antara, Astra, Cascada, Combo, Corsa, Crossland, Insignia, Meriva, Mokka, Movano, Vivaro & Zafira models. However, it is possible that further models will be affected.

2. If you purchased or leased a Vauxhall diesel vehicle between 2008 and 2019, you may qualify for a claim.

If Vauxhall has contacted you for an emission software update already or you have received a recall letter about an emission problem, your vehicle is eligible.

You can still make a diesel claim if you have outstanding finance which has not yet been repaid – however, you must continue to meet any outstanding financial obligations. You can also claim with Keller Lenkner UK if you no longer own the van and/or if you bought your van in your name through a limited company or partnership.

3. Affected Vauxhall van owners may be entitled to thousands of pounds each

As well as the negative impact on human health and our climate, the Vauxhall emissions scandal has had a direct result on people who bought, financed, or leased affected Vauxhall vans and cars.

These drivers were misled about their efficiency, performance and environmental friendliness and may have suffered losses as a result. For example, because the vehicles did not meet the promised environmental and performance standards, they may be worth less than the drivers paid for them. Drivers may also have paid higher fuel bills and maintenance costs, and these vehicles’ performance may also have been negatively affected.

At Keller Lenkner UK we are holding Vauxhall to account and affected van owners may be entitled to thousands of pounds in compensation each.

4. It costs nothing to join our no-win, no-fee Vauxhall van emissions claim

At Keller Lenkner UK, we act on a strict no win, no fee basis. So, as our client, you do not have to pay us anything upfront.

5. You can still claim if Vauxhall has implemented a ‘fix’

Vauxhall has already contacted many van owners to offer an emission software update. However, this ‘fix’ might have negatively impacted the fuel consumption and performance of the affected vehicles. Having the fix carried out does not affect your eligibility to register with us.

Don’t lose out on your chance to claim with Keller Lenkner UK

You may qualify to register for a no-win, no-fee claim if you purchased, financed, or leased a Vauxhall diesel vehicle between 2008 and 2019. Affected Vauxhall diesel owners may be entitled to thousands of pounds each.

If you are not sure if you have a claim, it is worth completing our short online questionnaire to find out.
