In our regular monthly update, we share the latest news from our firm.

We were extremely pleased to announce that Keller Lenkner UK was shortlisted for Law Firm of the Year at the 2022 LexisNexis Legal Awards.

The Awards recognise and celebrate excellence and innovation across the legal sector.  This latest accolade follows our 2021 success where we were shortlisted in the ‘Independent Law Firm of the Year’ and ‘Strategic Legal Operations Team of the Year’ categories at The British Legal Awards, and the ‘Disputes Boutique Firm of the Year’ category at The Lawyer Awards.

In January 2022, we launched two new data breach actions.

Our data breach team launched a group action to help customers of Vision Direct claim compensation after a data security incident exposed their financial information. You can find out more about the breach here.

The team also launched an action after a breach at the Zoosk dating website and app. The incident took place in 2020 and was big news in the US. But Zoosk did not tell UK customers that their data was compromised. We are helping Zoosk users in England & Wales to claim compensation.

We launched an Investment Fraud & Mis-selling website.

In January 2022, we launched a dedicated website to help individuals who have fallen victim to financial scams get their money back.

We were proud to begin working alongside MPs to support the Investment Fraud All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG)

The APPG was launched on 18 January 2022. It aims to ensure that victims of investment fraud – including sports fraud – are protected. Keller Lenkner UK will provide expert legal advice on investment fraud to the group.

We look forward to bringing you more news from across our business next month.
