Keller Postman UK sponsors Walsall under-13s club Silverdale Galaxy

With the 2022 World Cup underway in Qatar, football has gripped the nation. And, at Keller Postman UK, we also have football fever. But in addition to cheering on England and Wales, we’re also keeping a close eye to successes nearer to home, as Keller Postman UK is now a proud sponsor of Walsall under-13s football club Silverdale Galaxy.

The club is part of the Walsall Junior Youth Football League – one of the country’s leading providers of grass roots football. Running since October 1983, the league is committed to diversity and aims to provide training, teams, and games for all.

With offices in London, Liverpool, Manchester, and Birmingham, we are proud of the role we play when it comes to supporting local communities. And, in addition to supporting the sporting stars of tomorrow, Keller Postman UK also undertakes regular charitable events.

For example, in October, we held our annual CSR charity raffle at our conference in Manchester. This year, all funds raised went towards Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, which provides palliative care to adults with life-limiting illnesses in Oldham. With £2,621 raised, we were delighted to have exceeded our target and the amount raised last year.

Our expert lawyers are also involved in a number of worthy causes that impact the wider legal community. In October, in conjunction with the Law Society, and as part of the Black History Month celebrations, we hosted a panel event that explored several important topics including to what extent the death of George Floyd had impacted the UK legal sector, and the challenges of recruitment, retention and career progression for BAME employees. Furthermore, in November, we celebrated Pro Bono Week by raising awareness about the voluntary legal work being done by the people in our firm.

As an away-kit sponsor of the Walsall under-13s club we will be able to help Silverdale Galaxy, which is currently 5th in its League. We are delighted that the Keller Postman UK logo will feature proudly on the front of the away kit strip, alongside the ACED (Achieving & Celebrating Ethnicity and Diversity) logo on the sleeve.
